10 minute spectacular prom lift off

Post by Montana »

Today, saw GONG and just had to try somehow. Caught this through a window and with trees flapping in the way with the PST SS mode. Registax does perform miracles!!! Also, thanks Chris WOW gamma at 250 is amazing!

That's a great capture of a very dramatic prom Alexandra! B)

I think I will have to try gamma 250 on the proms when the sun starts climbing higher in the sky...

Great images Alexandra. I also use high gamma for proms, but I usually work at 150 depending on the prom.

best and keep up the excellent work

Fabulous images Alexandra! Reminds me of a cheatah leaping off of the sun, pouncing on its unseen prey off the frame. Very well done set of images. ;)

Thanks everyone!

Stephen, yes, I know exactly what you mean
I submitted in 5 minutes as I was being shoved out the door by a certain impatient person who wanted to go Christmas shopping. I used the solarastronomy.org e-mail in the hope it may sway them but remembered in the car I should have put 'member of the CBSAC' in the box. I then thought, oh well, they have never ever shown any of my pictures before, I'll remember next time. I knew you were going to say that. So they put the pics in.... it must be the e-mail address, it's being linked to a famous person I think :)
