AR12651 in Ha - 22nd April
Seeing was awful today, we have a northerly wind, and with cold air aloft is a recipe for instability and poor seeing, and that is what I got, despite excellent transparency between the clouds. I was using the 100mm Tal 100R refractor, double stacked quark, baader solar telecompressor and PGR Chameleon 3 with 2x2 binning to try and freeze the seeing. I like this setup a lot!

Maybe more to come, sorting through the rest of todays images. Hoping for more sun tomorrow and hoping you all have clear skies!

Impressive Mark very similar resolution wise to the Lunt100.I was going to get a double stack but got diverted into camera lenses.Too many toys so little time.

Those are beautiful, Mark. Definitely froze the seeing. Might have to try 2x2 binning as you've suggested to me. Not a setting I've every tried, quite frankly.

Thanks Mark - nice views considering weather lately and a quiet sun. Cheers, John W.

An excellent set of images, Mark. The DS Quarks seem to work well together.

These came up very well Mark. Looks like an effective setup. interesting the use of 2x2 bin, it worked well.
