Showers were the forecast for today, so I new I needed to be up early before the building heat of the day caused instability and the clouds started to form... It didn't take long for this, just after 6am, but I did manage some CaK images with the 40mm scope and the PGR Ch3 before this.

In between the clouds transparency was good, and I was able to follow Venus into the daytime sky for a good couple of hours.
Hope the weather is more cooperative for you.
Mark

Very nice Calcium images, Mark. Like you, I was out early this morning trying to beat the rain. Luckily I managed to snaffle some images before the conditions got too bad.
