It was sunny again this morning when I got up, so, was out with the scopes by 6am, however, the computer was saying no, and firecapture was just not working. I restarted, but still it didn't work. I have been using v2.3, but had a download for v2.4 so gave that a try and it worked, however, something magical happened; before I could only get 54fps with the PGR CH3 with 2x2 binning, however now this rocketed to 120fps and this was happily saving to disk and my coal powered laptop was happy. The difference was quite startling in terms of the quality of final image with the HaT.
Anyways, full disk with the 40mm scope at 500mm fl. PGR CH3, homemade CaK filter.

Then a camera switch - the PGR Blackfly with the IMX249 sensor and a closer look - excuse the bunny!

Then a play with the HaT, it was warm already (today is the hottest day of the year so far for me) but despite the live view not looking too promising, that 120fps capture rate worked a treat. Here's our active region:

Should be somemore later!
Hope you like,
Mark

Beautiful images, Mark, despite the bunny
The faster frame rate certainly seems to have helped.

Re: Sun Before Work - 25th May
Wow! that misfortune was good luck, the higher frame rate is a big improvement how about using the HaT first and the 40mm second when the seeing goes down I always do hires first and end with low res.
