LACERTA Herschel Prism - Test

Post by allhoest »

A quick test of a LACERTA Herschel Prism with Brewster´s angle.
The seeing was not perfect and sun was already high in the sky..
I should do the test again in better conditions.

This is very interesting, please tell us more. How do you compare to other solarwedges?

Pedro, I had a Baader. Here are some pics.
But I was quite new in solar imaging with bigger diameter at that time, so comparison is not fair.

A friend of mine still has a Baader Herschel. Maybe I'll do a side by side comparison one day.

Thanks Mark, Alexandra.
Alexandra, I read your recent post about your Quark. Very disappointing story.
I’m very happy with my Solar Spectrum.

Looking good. Nice granulation and faculae.
