The sun June 11th

Post by ffellah »

Hello everybody: the sun was pretty quiet today. I had an early morning session with good seeing and the main surface feature was a fairly large filament. There were also a couple of active regions, but I could not see any major prominences.

Clear skies to all !

Very nice images, Franco. That filament has been holding strong. I've been clouded in all weekend.

Hi Raf: the set-up is a SolarMax 90mm Double Stacked and a Point Flea 3 3.2 MP mono camera USB3. Software is FlyCapture 2.8, Virtual Dub, AS2, Astra Image and Photoshop CS3. No SSM for these images.
