These images were taken in typical seeing for my area
4 pane mosaic with LS80 at 1120mm
LS152 + Quark at 3800mm
2 pane mosaic
single panes
The next 2 images show the difference in posted image brightness by saving in the modes indicated. A suggestion made by Alexandra seems to be working, that saving in RGB mode instead of Greyscale results in a better match in image brightness between the posted image and the displayed image in PS.So, thanks so much, Alexandra.
saved in Greyscale mode

with Aries 265 ERF + c9.25 + 2X Powermate + Quark Combo at 4600mm
Seeing has to improve quite a bit before this setup can produce good results.

Wow! what a collection! a beautiful silvery disc and lovely close ups, although I do actually prefer the darker greyscale image even if it wasn't intentional

Good set Lou. I save as a bmp in ImPPG now, and then convert to 16bit RGB Tiff in Photoshop prior to any post processing in there, that preserves the brightness levels so that they are the same as what I get in ImPPG.
My shot from yesterday was struggling with the seeing with the 8" HaT more than you were with the bigger scope
