AR2665 in White Light 8JUL2017 JSM

Post by Albuqshutterbug »

I had a brief break in the clouds and wanted to image this spot in white light.
I used a Celestron C6 SCT with a homemade 2" keyhole filter and shot with my Skyris 236M Cmos cam.
I ran this stack through Registax and colorized it in Photoshop CC 2017.
Clouds moved in again before I could try to image todays prominences.
Life in the desert with daytime convection.

Thank you Mark,
I was pretty disappointed when I found out about the large Prominence I didn't get to image.
Little did I know it would last for 2 days.
I hope it lasts for one more so it can be a centerpiece at tomorrows solar outreach.
