My venerable PGR G3 has been showing an issue where one side of the frame seems out of focus (about 1/4 to 1/3 of the frame, always on the same side of the frame).
I first thought it may have been the result of using a tilter with H alpha but it happened with 3 different H alpha scopes.
Recently, however, it appeared on a high res white light lunar image where no tilter was used. I don't think this sounds like
a problem with an easy or economical fix (a recent query to FLIR to replace just the sensor cover glass, returned a quote of $200 US and they wouldn't sell me just the cover glass to do a 2 minute replacement myself. I can just imagine how much analyzing and repairing this problem would cost). The camera is still useable using ROI or cropping.

Lou

Hello Lou

The first image is great. Very nice perspective.

At 152 + Quark it looks like internal reflexes

Nice shots! Have you tried taking it apart and reassembling it? Sounds like something has moved or come loose inside the casing?

Those proms and AR have made a real show.
Beautiful set Lou, despite the camera problem. If you get to the bottom of the problem,
please let us know.
Best wishes,
David
