Morning Sun with AR2665

Post by Carbon60 »

An early start before work this morning. I've been ill and unable to post much this last week, or so, and so it was a nice treat to see the Sun this morning and be in a position to image it .

CaK FD, Ha FD and a close view of the spectacular AR2665 in Ha.

and the close view of AR2665 using my DS 150mm modified Lunt35, Basler acA1920-155um and 2.5x Powermate. Processed with AS!2 and IMPPG.

An interesting '3-legged' light bridge in the core.

Thanks for looking.

Stu.

Lovely shots Stu. Sorry to hear you've not been well, but glad to hear you are feeling better. Hoping for some sunny breaks myself before work too.

Lovely set Stu, the AR is a wonderful target at the moment, hope we get some more opportunities to image it.
Glad you are feeling better,
Best wishes,
David

I'm glad to hear you are feeling better, I hope you are back to peak health soon, but at least the Sun is a terrific target and always cheers you up. The close up is absolutely beautiful and the full discs too :bow :hamster:

Beautiful set, Stu.

I was able to do some imaging this morning (13Jul) and the peculiar light bridge seems to be gone. Haven't processed yet so can't say definitively.

Cheers.
Peter.
