Sol from the 12th of July 2017.

Post by eroel »

Hi:
Came home for lunch and saw a breach on the sky, all was clouded but a bright spot appeared on the sky, so I went up to the home observatory, opened the roof and aimed the Solarmax 90-DS with the always confiable SKYnyx 2-2
Just had a go for a 600 frame avi of the "surface and other for the protuberances which I had to cut in the incredible Virtual Dub software.
Here is the result and thanks for looking,
Eric.

Eric, lovely job. Do you record as avi's or SERs ? I could not find plug-in for VirtualDub to edit my SER files and
did not want to waste limited storage by converting my recordings from SER to avi.
Best wishes,
David

So contrasty, Eric.

That's one heck of an active region.
