Processing using the new 500 starting point After Advice

Post by Albuqshutterbug »

Thank you for the advise. I went back and redid this stack and processed it as an Inverse shot,
I used the 500 setting with prevent ringing turned on and viewed at 150%.
I think this is much better but may still be a bit over sharp.
Thoughts?
Thanks again,
Jim

I'm guessing you mean without sharpening, just stacked?
The second shot is stacked only and not even cropped.

I think Mark meant the positive version :)

Looking at the positive it is much improved from the first :)

Yes I did and yes it is!

When using AS make sure you have cropped mode on then you don't get the black jaggedy edges around the stacked image.

Thank you both very much.
Mark, I haven't been using that feature because I thought it reduced the area of the image, not just the crispy edges.
This way I can manually crop off the toast and keep the bread.

It does, but by cropping afterwards does the same thing ;)

Thank you Franco. Something new and it feels odd.

Thanks Mark. I'll add that to my settings and try it out.
