Lunchtime Flaring + Extras

Post by Derek Klepp »

Nothing gets the heart racing like seeing some action when taking a quick look through the Lunt 60.I quickly set up and over an hour got a few pics despite the swimming seeing and the palm tree which gets in the road at this time of year.I missed the action on the limb but I was just happy to see some flaring. Also some other pics. The milky way shots are with a Sigma 14mm f1.8 lens.Hope everyone gets some Sun this weekend and a view of the AR before it heads off.

You have had a very busy day ( and night) by the looks of things Derek.
Excellent collection, with something for everyone there. Love the Milky Way images.

Was that the M2 flare? http://www.spaceweather.com/
Magnificent catch Derek and I love the other images, particularly the Wren (well it looks like ours but I guess it won't be).
