Hello Christian.
This looks very good. I've always had the impression of distortion at SC Telskopen that does not look like in your recording. I hbae times with my Mac tested, but came because of Seeing not far! Maybe later.

Hi Christian,
I have been imaging in G-Band for a few months. After seeing your Hi Res H-Alpha with an C8 Edge, I am going to do H-Alpha on my C8 Thanks.

Thank you for this enviable example, Christian
Am I right that the "RG" in the filter description under the image means this is a research grade etalon and that the slight darkening on the right is just limb darkening?

Re: Firts light with SolarSpectrum 0.3A, C8 Edge-HD on July 14
Thanks to all :-)
Alfred : I've put aside G band for a while since I have a HAT11" on loan until the end of July. But I'll get back to it at the end of August from an observing site 2800 m high :-)
Lou : yes indeed. The RG is really uniform. The darkening is just the limb darkening.
The Solar Spectrum is really good :-)
