Observatory in Skye???

Post by Merlin66 »

Visiting Skye, noticed an observatory dome in a garden just north of Staffin......
Any idea who is located there?

I think I know it, 1 hours drive from here. I don't know who has it unfortunately. It will need to be strong and well sealed for the gales and rain!

Yes, I saw that one too when we were up there. There's dinosaur footprints on the beach in Staffin too.

:D
That issue sounds familiar all over the world, when I travel and see a dome or something that looks like a sliding roof, I ring at the door and try to find who is the gal or guy that has the scope, how big a scope, etc.
I have a lot of fiends found that way in many countries including mine.
Best regards to all,
Eric.
