Ca K, Ha and G band images taken on Aug5 and July 16 with TOA150, Hat11 and N300

Post by christian viladrich »

Dear all,

Here is a set of solar images taken last July 16th and August 5th with various instruments and filters.

First, the solar disk in Ca K on July 16th :

A close-up on AR2665 :

The same in Ha with the Hat11 and the Solar Spectrum 0.3A. The seeing was not very good :

The solar granulation in Ca K :

BTW, I used a sub-aperture 50 mm blue Astronomik filter as a ERF filter

AR2670 taken on August 5th in G band and with the 300 mm solar telescope. The seeing was average. The weather was pretty warm :

Best regards

Really quite astonishing images Christian! My seeing conditions don't even come anywhere close to this.

Thanks to all :-)
We see the classic "double limb" effect on the third one. I've tuned the Ha filter at F/35 on the C8 Edge-HD. I should probably have done some tweaking for the F/27 of the C11 Edge-HD.
