AR2671 August 19/2017 GREAT SEEING! C11 280mm + ARIES DERF + QUARK

Post by Valery »

Hi folks,

Today's morning was cloudy and the cloudness has dissipated late morning when the sun has rised high in the sky.
But the enviromental ground and the air were not heated. So when the sky cleared the seeing was really great during
about an hour. And the very first movie I managed to record finally came out as the best.

Here the image from this first movie.

Telescope - C11 280mm F/10 equipped with the ARIES 295mm full aperture DERF filter and Quark Chromosphere.
Camera - Basler 1920-155.

The Quark was in the -1 click position (counting from the middle).

See how busy is this nice and very wide group! Due to a narrow bandwidth of this Quark some spots are masked down by the middle and the upper chromosphere.

Thansk for looking.

Wow, beautiful, fine detail, Valery. And we learn that sometimes clouds are our friends.

Wonderful shot,Valery.

It would be interesting to see SSM data taken during those high-resolution captures.
