Looks fabulous, Derek. An ideal combination of astronomy and natural history.

Re: Holiday Atmospherics
Wow!!! what a holiday!! which island did you stay on Derek? I have never seen so many birds, it looks a truly magical place in astronomy, marine and land biology I dread to think how many pictures you took, I am currently going through my 1000 holiday pictures and uploading them slowly to Flickr. Last night I just did eclipse day, then I need to process my eclipse pics, then add all the rest of the sunsets, giant Redwoods and crater lake pics. I wish I had more time but finally I started back working today, the first time since the end of April, so a full day of work today and I think this week will be a shock to my system.

Re: Holiday Atmospherics
Glad you all enjoyed them.Alexandra it's called Lady Elliot Island and I can drive 40minutes to the local airport and be there in 2hrs.For the record I took about 2000 pics in 3 days and culled them to about 150 and printed out about 80 A4s to stick in the shed.I will now go to Flickr to check out those Redwoods.
