I did a second test of the LACERTA Herschel Prism with Brewster´s angle.
This time, the seeing conditions were better, but not perfect. I started imaging a bit too late with this setup.
The image is taken with a focal of about 2500mm.
Because the question was raised in the previous post, I took an image with the same setup, but a prism from Baader Ceramic.

Re: LACERTA Herschel Prism - Test (2)
Maybe it is because I have a Lacerta Wedge myself or is that really the better image? Both very good btw, nice to see the comparison this way Did you use a solar continuum / IR-UV Block or was it just the wedges with the ND filter?

Hi!
The image with the Lacerta looks better, indeed. To exclude seeing effect, one should repeat the test in good conditions.
The setup had No IR (I forgot it...), one ND09 and one KLine.
