I am hesitant to put them here because questions like "How do I get RAW output from my capture program" or "What am I actually doing with the gamma control?" aren't exactly solar related, yet they don't seem to fit under the other forums either. I don't see anything about this in the FAQ.
Where is it preferred that I post questions like this?
Thanks
Bruce G

Bruce,
As you probably realise many of us use different cameras and different software, both for acquisition and processing.
Ask you question...
Just include as much detail as you can to allow us to help.

OK. Thanks. There are some forums where people can get testy about where various topics are posted and I didn't want to step on any toes here

Re: What is the proper forum for technical questions?
Just open a thread with your question/s. If it is modification based we may end up moving it to that section, if it is more equipment it may go to the commercial. Whichever don't worry it will be me or Merlin who moves it if it does need moving and we're happy chaps and won't turn into grumpy g!ts
