Very nice Steve! How do you find the WO132 as a scope?

Re: Sol 22-9-2017 WL
Thanks Mark
The 132 is an older version and is Ok but the stock focuser was a disgrace and now has a moolite. Also it is quite heavy.
Also the WO policy of making them with a short tube so binoviewers can be used means I had to have 2 x 4" extensions in for night time astro, but is in fact Ok for the wedge but i still have to have the focuser racked all the way out and with the powermates it could use an extension.
Mine has a damaged lens element with a bit of a clamshell fault but does not seem to degrade the image much.It did suffer from pinched optics in the cold but now I have released the lenes it may be Ok we will see if it does cool down this winter. You don't wnat to know how tight the lens cell was nipped up by a gorilla on steroids and how i did manage to to unscrew the cell would make most cringe in fear.
Btw thats not how the lens element was damaged.
