Post by eroel »

Hi:
I am posting today the 23rd these 3 versions of one FD avistream taken yesterday, today a few hours ago we had another earthquake, though this one was 6.2 Richter with an epicenter 520 Km away, looks like we are going to be rocking for a while.
Thanks for looking.
Hope you all have a better weekend tan us.
Eric.

These are beautiful Eric, I hope things settle down soon ;) I guess all the land has to re-order itself before things can settle and then maybe you will have peace for a quite a while after. I hope all the telescopes are OK and nothing was damaged but looking at the solar ones they look great :bow :hamster:

Alexandra:
Thanks for looking and for your kind support. My wife and I were awakend by the alarm seismic horns, so as usual, we ran with pijamas on to our safe reunion place, there I found my son and daughter in law, becasue the kids were on a friends house.
We barely felt the Earthquake due to the distance from epicenter 520 Km, so we got in again and kept doing our daily routines.
Thanks to the alarm systems and drills, we all know what to do, the problem being that if you are very near the epicenter, the alarms will sound when it starts shaking, not before. I live in a one flat house, so for my wife and me it is easy to get out, but imagine a guy or gal living on an 8th floor, even if they know all the routines.
Best regards,
Eric.

Mark:
Thanks for looking and commenting, and yes, sometimes it gets traumatic when you see all the damage quakes can do, up to now 307 casualties and 140 000 houses and buildings totally damaged or collapsed.
Solidarity has been incredible, you can see young, middle aged and elder people helping remove the gravel from the wrecks and also carrying food medicines, tools, etc. that is needed.
Best regards,
Eric.
