40m animation from today

Hinode solar guider


captured 15s (700 frames) ever 60s. Planned on 1.5 hrs but clouds moved it.
Seeing was average

Processed in AS2 (AS3 kept giving me errors?)

This is exactly what I have been wanting to strive for. Wonderfully done! Were you able to get the recording to show both the surface detail and the prominences simultaneously or did it require one recording each and assemble the two later?

Thanks. I did one capture for surface then used imppg to bring out surface (inverted) and prom

See the bottom for example histogram

I use imppg to batch process all the subs then align before making gif. I'm is shockingly easy once you get the hang of it
