Sol from the 28th of October 2017.

Post by eroel »

Hi:
Went to the rural observatory during the weekend, but the weather was bad, just on Saturday morning I did have a quick glimpse of the sun with clouds passing by.
I did not have time to start experimenting with the 10" f/20 Maksutov with a full aperture Aries ERF, so I just used the old 6" f/12 AP refractor with a 2X Baader telecentric and also a very old ATM Daystar filter and the SKYnyx 2-2 camera.
Here are 3 shots processed quickly, (I will try to get a better result when posible) and process the rest taken.
Thanks for looking,
Eric.

Lots of fine detail in that prom, Eric. Nicely imaged.
