Lunt Double stacked with 60mm Coronardo and PGR Chameleon cam
A quick grab before more adjustments and the polarising filter.
Good job i did as this was the first and last capture I got.

You're getting some sun in lately Steve, nice disk! Looking forward to seeing how you get on with the polariser.

A little more camera tilt should see the end of those remaining Newton's rings and some fine tweaking of both etalons should get you there. Sometimes I have to rotate the DS module to achieve even illumination across the disk. Maybe worth a try. Looking good.

Re: Sol 10-11-2017 ha
Thanks
This was a very small stack of a small capture, 51 of 200 frames, with the drive switched off on the mount.
The promised afternoon clear skies did not appear - again.
Tomorrow looks good but i may have other matters to attend to as we get married on Monday, but you never know I may sneak a couple of hours in.
