Closer to the filament

Post by ffellah »

Hi all: I was out yesterday and I had to get closer to that very large filament.

The result is here, at the limit of seeing with this low sun and the limit of my post processing....

I hope you like it.

Franco

Like it. Looks good.

wish I had the sun that high in the sky ;) . Weather here has been very unpredictable, by the time gear is out, I usually have to rush to get everything back inside before the next rain shower.

Regards,

Paul

Just rain, rain and more rain here. Having to live it vicariously instead ;).

Thank you all ! These were taken with the 203mm HaT scope at 5600mm with a Daystar Combo, that gets me closest to the chromosphere. l also used the Hinode solar guider.
