Not much luck imaging the Sun at the moment- too cloudy or too low, or......

Anyhow, last night the sky was beautiful and clear, so another opportunity to image the Moon.

RCT (250mm) on a Basler acA1920-155um. AS!3/ImPPG/ICE. 8 pane mosaic.

Beautiful detail Stu, looks like everything is working very well now :bow :hamster: Oh I am such a wimp, I should have gone out last night but it was so cold and I was so tired after decorating the kitchen all day. Even tonight looks good but I can't bear the thought of the cold, I am a useless astronomer!

That came out really well stu! I've been enjoying looking at old moon face with the binoculars this week.

Many thanks Pedro, Rainer, Alexandra, Franco, Derek and Mark. Comments are always appreciated.

Rainer, the scope is this one...http://www.skyatnightmagazine.com/aarc250

Alexandra, I know exactly what you mean.... out in the cold/dark vs being out in the Sun..... the Sun has it, although I'm still getting to grips with the scope and collimating it and the moon makes an excellent alternative target. :)

Thanks again everyone.

Stu.
