Animation of AR2699 on the 9th Feb

Post by robert » Sat Feb 10, 2018 1:04 pm

There was a clear spell for a while around noon yesterday and I had a go at time lapse. There are two files which are 11.23-11.44 UTC and 11.46-12.05 UTC. There was some flaring going on.
Using 150mm PST mod and x2.5 Barlow, at 30 second cadence.
9 and 12Mb to download so maybe a bit slow. Enjoy?

Robert

Lovely to see the plasma flowing around the sunspots and the white flaring......

Excellent, Robert.

A very nice capture, Robert!

Thanks for sharing.

I hope this group is not the last in this sun activity cycle.

Thanks Mark, Eric and Valery. Mark, it helps to be retired for time lapse imaging ☺
