Sunday Sun 25th Feb

Post by Carbon60 »

Finally some sunshine and time to image. The conditions were 'pants' as far as seeing goes, although I did manage to capture something of the large prom in Ha using my 150mm mod and a full disk CaK with my B600 module on a 72mm refractor, but I just couldn't get anything worth keeping with my DS Lunt 60. These images were just too soft and blurry with very little detail.

Anyhow.....

First up the prom in Ha.

And the CaK FD in mono and colour.

Thanks for looking.

A very nice set, Stu. It looks like the sun has a very small active region now....

I am surprised you got such a good result with the 150mm and none from the 60mm?
These are super images and I am glad you managed to get your telescopes out :hamster: :bow

Many thanks everyone. Hopefully more to come with spring just around the corner here in the north.
