Some tropical sun -photos fixed

Post by MapleRidge »

Hi everyone...

About half way through our week in Punta Cana, and just sharing a few views of the sun and reflected sunlight. Not the greatest quality since they were taken on the phone.

The moon is dominating the night sky, but still cool to see Orion nearly overhead and Archernar (alpha Eridani) well above the southern horizon. The resort lights keep the palms well lit (talk about light pollution)!!!

That’s it for today...better go catch up with Sandy and Madeline 😉

Super images Brian, is that what the Sun looks like :) I hope it is warm for you.

We have snow, ice and a bitterly cold easterly Russian wind (40mph at -6 is not pleasant). It is bringing some interesting birds into my garden though :)

Thanks everyone for you vacation wishes...much appreciated!!!

Wether here a lot like the hot July/Aug weather but palms instead of maple trees and no chores

Franco and Alexandra, we are supposed to be getting an old fashioned winter storm at home today, but we are on the northern edge from what I see on the forecast...you’ll likely get more your way Franco from what shows on radar now.
