Solar Prominrnce 4th March 2018

Post by GeorgeIonas » Mon Mar 05, 2018 10:37 am

Here are a few images that took of the solar prominence on the 4th of March. One can see the strong magnetic field on the neighboring prominence.

The seeing was not the best as the sun was over the garage roof and I was getting a lot of heat shimmer.

The images were taken with the Takahashi FS-60Q (F/10) scope fitted with the Coronado SM60 Etalon + BF30 + 2x Tele Vue PowerMate + ZWO ASI174MM camera.
