Sunday 25th March 2018

Post by Montana »

Finally after 2 days Flickr will let me upload my images :)

The Sun was very quiet, so after all my chores were done I sat with a G&T and the PSTs to do a bit of sun watching.

Then to round off the day we went and watched the sunset in the cow field, we saw Venus but we couldn't see Mercury (we tried and tried to spot it).

Brilliant and sharp images, Alexandra ! I am always amazed by what you can get out of your PST.

The Venus at sunset image with the red tones is splendid. :band :bow

Nice images, Alexandra. Lovely sunset sky.

I was lucky enough to be on a flight coming in to Manchester the other week at dusk with a beautiful bright Venus and Mercury conjunction (almost) happening through my window. I even remarked upon it with an unknown lady sitting next to me. I think she thought me a bit strange :)

Thanks everyone :)
Stu, that's the sort of thing I would say, I wouldn't be able to contain myself if I saw something like that. I always wonder why no one else seems to see it and go oh my!! look at that.
