Zoom eyepieces for solar observation

Zoom eyepieces for solar observation

Check out a few zoom eyepieces I use regularly for solar observation

1- ZEISS Vario D 15-56x/20-75x eyepiece (maybe the best zoom eyepiece out there, and the most expensive as well)
2- Vixen LV eyepiece Zoom 8-24 mm 1,25"
3- Pentax SMC XF 6.5-19.5mm 1.25" eyepiece
4- Baader Hyperion Universal Mark II 2", 8-24mm Zoom eyepiece
5- Lunt Solar Systems 1.25" 7.2mm - 21.5mm zoom eyepiece

Pedro thanks very much love the digiscopes the birders love these.I now use my cameras with either a 100-400mm or 600mm lens the image stabilisation is a godsend.I find the Vixen an extremely value for money zoom and it is my eyepiece of choice on my 16” Dobsonian along with 2” 42mm Vixen eyepiece which really helps with the star colours.

I have the Pentax XW 8-24 zoom which I enjoy very much.
