Solar Granulation -broadband Ha 20180519

Post by Carbon60 » Sat May 19, 2018 6:10 pm

Conditions were a little hazy and seeing was mediocre at best......not ideal for my 250 RCT with full size ERF, this time fitted with a 7nm broadband Ha filter and darkened crossed polarising filters to take some of the sting out of the image brightness.

A little brightening around a couple of pores and mottled texture.

Thanks for looking

Nice granulation Stu. Interesting use of the Baader 7nm Ha filter. I use it together with my Ha etalons. Maybe I should give it a try to capture the granulation
