Evening sessions can be so hit and miss and I was working to a tight schedule which meant things were done in a bit of a rush. Both images were captured on using my DS150/Lunt35 mod with a 2.5X Powermate and acA1920-155um camera.
Processing:
AS!3, Imppg, PixInsight
First up, AR2710 with some nice curving plasma streamers.

And some proms. Note the tuning fades out a bit towards the right hand side I should have spotted this and corrected for it at the time..... oh hum.

Thanks for looking.

Some beautiful smooth imaging Stu I was looking at the evening Sun and wishing I was imaging.
Been so busy at work again as I have been drowning in data again, it really puts me off coming home and drowning in more imaging data

Re: Sun in Hydrogen Alpha- May 23rd
Many thanks, everyone. Hopefully there will be more opportunities to image over this holiday weekend here in the UK.
Derek, glad you enjoyed the article on magnetometry. Things are a little quiet at the moment, as far as solar storms are concerned.
