Double Stacked Active Regions on Saturday 23rd June
Very poor transparency today with lots of haze and high cloud, but continuing with different setups and I think this one gives the tightest bandpass and most contrasty view at the slight expense of image brightness. Visually the contrast is one of the best i've seen.

My Lunt LS50C etalon is very good and requires no tilt to be on band. I could be silly and try triple stacking with my other 50mm etalon

Re: Double Stacked Active Regions on Saturday 23rd June
Very nice debute of new equipment, Mark!
To tell exactly is this really so, you need to check up this with a lazer collimator.
Adjust the etalon at the highest contrast of the details in the ceter of the FOV.
Put the lazer collimator in the focuser, rack out the focuser tube maximally.
Switch IN the lazer. See where is the reflected beam. If it very very near
the lazer beam output hole, then this etalon does not really need a tilt.
Hope this helps.

Mark:
A very compact solar scope, and as for the images it looks like the setup will give very nice contrasty images.
Best regards,
Eric.

Looking good there, Mark. It will be interesting to see further results from this setup over the summer.
