Full discs with LS50 and TS80ED
Solar activity is returning to be very low as AR12715 is approaching the W limb. There are few prominences on the limb (yesterday there was a fine one on the W) and a filament is visible on the disc inside a large area of magnetic activity but without details in WL. This morning I counted 7 spots in AR12715 .
I have finally been able to obtain a fairly uniform disc with my pressure tuned LS50, it was quite simple but I didn't realize it immediately: it has been sufficient to rotate the diagonal to a 9 o'clock position There should be some kind of mismatch between the BF and some other component(s) inside the tube, rotating the diagonal compensates most of the unevennes.

Do you use a tilt adapter or do Newton rings not pose a problem for you, I cannot get a uniform disc in a single shot I have to do mosaics.I will have to try rotating the diagonal.

Thanks Eric.
Brendan, I do not have Newton rings with my Lunt and the Chameleon mono, I have them with the Quark, in this case I use a TS tilt adapter but only when making a flat is not enough to get rid of them.

Re: Full discs with LS50 and TS80ED
Thanks to all for your kind words, I am still undecided whether to buy or not a DS module, it costs a lot of money and I don't know if it's worth it...
