Fantastic! I can watch it over and over and still find something new.
Question: I have problems finding a program to align the single frames. I have tried Registax5 and 6 but none of them will align my images.

Best regards

Excellent result and great details.
Question: I have problems finding a program to align the single frames. I have tried Registax5 and 6 but none of them will align my images.
Try ImPPG, menu Tools/Align image sequence....

My software:
Stackistry — an open-source cross-platform image stacker
ImPPG — stack post-processing and animation alignment

Wow! A mesmerizing animation with so much detail in the prominences and the spicule layer .... especially at the start of the sequence. Very beautiful.
Cheers, Peter.

+10000 :bow :bow :bow

ImPPG ,Yes!!!!
but in two passes because I had too much shift on some images. ;) :D
(I paint my windows at the same time as I capture   )

or IRIS with the order <peregister2> is véry effective in desperate cases, but not easy to tame.

thank you Eric,Peter,Franco,GreatAttractor, Oivind and David

Hi again!

I have now tried the program and it works like a charm. Here is the result:

http://www.knuttangen.no/astro/index.ph ... 2018-06-25

There is not much happening and I have not put a lot of work into the processing, but all 50 frames are beautifully aligned.
Thank you for the tip Great Attractor!

Best regards
