With some assistance from Torsten, I was able to get FireCapture running on my Mac and communicating with my ZWO ASI174MM camera. Unfortunately, nothing but clouds above my head.
There are some tricks involved in the installation. Thankfully, I had exposure to Unix at one point in my life.
If anyone is interested in how to install FireCapture on the Mac, let me know and I'll write it up. If I get more than a couple requests, I'll post it

OK. I'll write it up. I still need to check the syntax of one of the Terminal commands
