New Sunspot - 1st August

Post by marktownley »

This morning has been cloudy all bar a brief gap when I was able to take this shot of the new sunspot.

He was active yesterday too with the shot with the ED80 and Quark.

And the proms finally disappeared from the limb, the were the filaments we've been following all week across the disk. Taken with the DS50.

Hope skies are clearer for you.

Mark:
Yes a new small sunspot.
You had a profitable session in spite of the clouds.
Best regards,
Eric.

Good images, Mark.

I can only hope for some clear weather this weekend. Looking doubtful.....
