8th August WL

Post by robert »

Windy and short gaps with sunshine but the seeing seemed good. I tried for granulation with SW200 TVx5 ND3.8, Baader continuum and UV/IR cut with PGR Chameleon 3 (3.2MP). OK, despite telescope shaking about,
Robert

Superb granulation, you are getting some very good seeing at the moment :hamster:
We have been getting a lot of cloudy days for the past few weeks but at least it has been a pleasant 20-23 degrees (no heatwave here). I wish it could be sunnier ;)

Wet showery weather seems to get me better seeing, but I would like some warm days too (14-18 degrees here!) even if it makes for worse seeing ;)

The granulation is perfect Robert! I wish my seeing would be better more often, I guess you have that pleasant Atlantic air helping things.

Amazing the difference a bit of geography makes, we've been 25c+ for ages now, but with that and my urban surroundings comes turbulence and poor seeing, throw in some very hazy skies too. Summer is slowly fading more south eastwards now across the UK...
