Sol from the 1st of September 2018.

Post by eroel »

Hello:
Some CaK and Ha FD´s taken with the 102mm f/9 Meade with a CaK PST mod and the Solarmax 90-DS and the SKYnyx 2-2.
Still hazy, cloudy and rainy days, had to chase the Sun today since early morning till lunch time, it appeared just on very few occasions through haze and clouds.
Thanks for looking.
Eric.

Excellent images, Eric. The inverted prom CaK is my favourite.

Thanks Eric a busy Father’s Day down here.It has been an exceptionally warm dry winter here and I have rarely seen so much activity in my bees so early in the year.Definitely a warming up.Just a question have you ever used a Solar Wedge on your 6” Refractor for viewing?
Regards Derek

Much appreciated comments.
Best wishes to all,

P.S. Derek, yes I have used the 6" f/12 AP refractor with a Baader Herschel wedge, here is an old image.
