A week ago, on Sept. 4th, I could capture some CaK through a break in the clouds that lasted for a few minutes only, but the seeing was o.k. Unfortunately, after two short videos the sun was gone again before I could get a Barlow lens to get the proper focal lenght for the seeing.

Processing the better of the two videos gave this image:

As this seemed clearly undersampled I tried out drizzling in Autostakkert for the first time. The result positively surprised me, although shooting with a Barlow probably would have been better:

Wow!! the first pic is great but the drizzled version is terrific too. I have not thought of using the drizzle function for a long time. I tried it many years ago and it took so long I got bored waiting. Maybe it is worth the wait :)
