Update on laptop and camera

Post by denababy »

Hi all thanks to everyone that commented on my previous post regarding updating my camera, well, I have my laptop in the shop now having an ssd fitted (250) and I ordered the Pointgrey IMX 174 camera with a suitable nose piece and power cable. You never know I may be able to post some pics that have the kind of detail I am looking for, I suppose now it is all down to the processing.
Thanks again for all your help, I’m sure I will be at the well soon. Cheers

Hi folks, after a bit of confusion regarding which link on the ptgrey download page and after contacting them I was able to identify the correct drivers, I have just tried my camera by pointing it at a distant object and there it was on my laptop screen, just got to try it on some Stars and the Sun.
