A few lunchtime images in Ha and CaK on a beautiful blue sky day. Regrettably a very quiet sun gives limited opportunities for anything particularly exciting, but here goes:

Firstly a random sample of the chromosphere using my 150mm/Lunt 35 mod. Basler acA1920-155um camera and 2.5x Powermate.

And in colour:

Full disk image with my DS Lunt60:

And over to the blue end with a CaK FD taken using my Lunt B600 module on a 72mm refractor

A nice set, Stu. At least you got some filaments...and I always like the chromosphere close-ups.

A good set there Stu. Weather has been nice this week however work has dominated things, now it's saturday i'm up in Liverpool so no solar observing for me unless it stays clear on sunday afternoon.

Great images, Stu, in spite of the low activity.

Today there is a fine hedge on the SE limb, it's worth a look.

A great set Stu :bow I am glad you had the opportunity to catch the Sun. Clear blue all week at work, busy on Saturday, then Sunday when I could have viewed it was cloudy and raining. Monday back to sun again, I think I am cursed!

Many thanks, Franco, Mark, Raf and Alexandra. Getting time on the scopes and having lovely sunshine can be quite a challenge, especially as we enter the autumnal period. Darn..... Roll on spring :)

In the meantime, good luck for those in the south as your season begins.
