Hi all,

The sun minimum at it's worst. Here is the most bald sun I ever saw. See GONG full disk photo.

However, even in such a difficult conditions of the solar minimum a telescope with aperture 8" and up
will give the possibility to find a lot of interesting things even in the desert areas on the sun face.

See what my C11 equipped with the ARIES full size two bands DERF filter and a Quark Chromosphere
H-a eyepiece can show and such a desert area of a bald sun.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Valery...

A fine example of the small scale details that can be found even in the descent to solar minimum. Excellent result :bow
