Some unusual proms on Oct 30

Post by gabrieli »

With the sun noticeably lower than the last post, the seeing was poor as expected but quite a few proms appeared, some
with unusual shapes. Here are a few that were taken with Lunt152 and Quark Chromosphere.

Great prom work, Lou. The first one looks like a man riding a dragon... the second one like a giant caterpillar, the last one a beautiful abstract painting.

Hi Lou...

Great to see you had a chance to take advantage of the rare sunny skies today and the proms look great too :bow

I managed to have time to image too...still processing. There were a number of small filaments as well.
