Some reflections of old Sun on the Moon.

Hi:
Well, the just passed weekend, had a chance to take some quick reflections of the Sun with the 10" f/20 TEC maksutov.
Thanks for looking, though it does not look like our old Star.

Excellent, Eric. Beautifully detailed images.
As Alexandra says, you must have great seeing. My 250mm RCT gives nothing like these with my wobbly seeing. Can you post a video of your AVI?

I have the recordings in the hard disk of one of the PC´s at the rural observatory, in 2 more weeks I will go again and bring it back.
BTW, the SER recordings are bad, the AP1200 Goto mount bought in 1998 needs a gear relubrication and adjustment, the lunar tracking speed goes up and down during the recording of 1000 frames.
A chore for next visit.

Lovely shots! I may have to do some mooning myself in this winter sun drought...
