Such a Minimum Today | HA | Nov 30th 2018

Post by MalVeauX »

Heya,

I had a day off and woke up to some lower stratus clouds and some higher humdity, already in the 70's (F) again here in Florida despite our little cold snap we just had. Seeing was pretty miserable with the turbulent hot air moving around. The disc is nearly void today. No particularly noteworthy active regions. No spots. There are a handful of really small proms that you can just start to make out. A small filament on the disc face is the only feature that really jumps out today and even its fairly subtle due to being so small. The larger of the small proms has a filament attached making a little filaprom. Underwhelming in terms of features today. But, the spicules are dancing as there's always something to see in HA!
