Combo Quark on Refractor

Post by c8er »

If using a Combo Quark on a refractor where in the chain of optics should my telecentric barlow(s) go? I would be using a rear mounted uv/ir filter for energy rejection.

Are there any problems with using a combo quark on a refractor other then getting the f ratio in the right range with barlows? Obviously the 2 degree SCT snout for the combo wouldn't be used with a refractor.

Cheers and thanks in advance,
Chris

Telecentric needs to go inbetween the refractor and quark. UV/IR filter would go on the nose of the telecentric.
